The vineyards are located on the plains and in the hills of Padua, Veneto, in north-eastern Italy. The soil contains a moderate amount of clay and has the presence of skeleton. The vitners tend the land traditionally to obtain the best quality of grapes harvested usually in the second half of September. In the cellar a “flower” must is created keeping the berries intact. The wine is made with very little residual sugar which logically gives the wine is bone dry taste.
