Founded in the heart of Roero by Ernesto Faccenda in the 1950s and curated by the Faccenda family ever since, Cascina Chicco today harvests and vinifies over 44 hectares of vineyards in the most famed areas of Roero: the municipalities of Canale, Castellinaldo, Vezza d’Alba and Castagnito. It directly oversees around 8 hectares within the Menzione Geografica Aggiuntiva ‘Ginestra’, one of the most renowned cru in the Barolo denomination, and ‘Castelletto’ in Monforte d’Alba. Brothers Enrico and Marco Faccenda choose to cultivate the most expressive varieties of each territory, enhancing each subtlety to reach its maximum potential. The red wines undergo long macerations to delicately extract flavours.
